Lil’ Saints Parent Code of Conduct Agreement and Zero Tolerance Policy
Lil’ Saints Soccer strives to create a positive and safe environment for children to learn the game of soccer and develop a love of the game.
I/we will set a good example to my/our child in his/her soccer development by adhering at all times to the following:
With regard to my/our child, I/we agree to:
Remember that my child participates in Lil’ Saints Soccer to have fun and that the game is for youth, not adults.
Remember this in not the World Cup, this is recreational soccer and is about my child developing his/her skills and learning to love the game of soccer.
Endeavor to be a positive role model for my child and his/her teammates.
Only give positive feedback to players. We/I will leave the coaching to the coaches.
Not ridicule or yell at my child or other participants for any reason.
Cheer at all games within the spirit of fair play and shall do our best to cheer the effort regardless of the outcome.
Ensure our child attends practices and is prepared and on time for all games.
Ensure our child treats all coaches, referees, teammates and opposing players with respect at all times.
Ensure our child adheres to the Lil’ Saints Player Code of Conduct and understand that my child’s violation of the Player Code of Conduct can and will result in them being removed from a game and or suspended from future games or seasons with Lil’ Saints Soccer.
With regard to opposing teams, I/we agree to:
Remember that the opposing team is our opponent and not our enemy.
Be mindful in "lopsided" games where cheering our own "winning" team might be misunderstood. It is okay to positively cheer and support the opposing team as well.
Not engage in altercations with coaches, parents, players, referees or opposing coaches, players, or spectators.
With regard to Referees, I/we agree to:
Remember that referees, just as coaches and players, are attempting to do their best and I/we will act accordingly and show respect.
Understand that my attitude can influence my child, their team & other spectators.
Display a controlled and undemonstrative attitude toward Referees at all times.
Not yell at or negatively address a referee before, during, or after the game.
Address any complaints regarding a referee in writing to the Lil’ Saints directors rather than with the referee directly..
Abide by the rules of the Lil’ Saints Soccer Zero Tolerance Policy.
With regard to Coaches, I/we agree to:
Lil’ Saints ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
All individuals including coaches, parents, players, and spectators, shall support and respect the referees. Improper conduct towards any referee is strictly prohibited. Such improper conduct includes disputing calls, ridiculing, yelling, berating, insulting, or any other negative behavior towards referees. Complaints regarding a referee’s performance or questions regarding rules should be addressed in writing to the league directors.
Drug and Alcohol Policy: Any use of drugs or alcohol at any Lil’ Saints event is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to marijuana, tobacco, and vaping. Use or possession of any alcohol, tobacco product, marijuana, or any illegal substance, at any Lil’ Saints event by an individual will result in immediate removal from Lil’ Saints activities for the duration of the season (upon review of the league directors). Forfeiture of all fees may result.
Weapons and Firearm Policy: Any possession or use of a weapon or firearm at any Lil’ Saints event or on school property is strictly prohibited. Police will be called and any individual found to be in possession of a weapon or firearm will be asked to leave the premise or will be escorted off the property by the police. Possession of a firearm or weapon by an individual may also result in the cancelation of their associated player’s registration and forfeiture of all registration fees at the discretion of the league directors.
Violators of the Zero Tolerance Policy at any Lil’ Saints event may be ejected and are subject to disciplinary action by Lil’ Saints Soccer. Lil’ Saints directors will investigate and respond to incidents reported. and action will be taken for anyone found to be in violation of the Zero Tolerance Policy.

I understand that if I/we violate or fail to adhere to the behaviors outlined above that I/we and my child may be subject to suspension or removal from the Lil’ Saints Soccer League and that all fees may be forfeited.
